Neil brings more than 20 years’ international experience in racecourse management, infrastructure development and equine surface delivery. A British Horseracing Authority-accredited Clerk of the Course, he has led major capital projects and surface installations across the UK and the Middle East, working closely with contractors, racing authorities, and government stakeholders to deliver world-class racing and training facilities.
More recently, as Racecourse Director and Clerk of the Course at King Khalid Racecourse in Saudi Arabia, Neil has overseen major dirt track refurbishment works and capital development planning. Prior to this role he was the Facilities Manager and Clerk of the Course for Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club in Bahrain, where he managed many infrastructure projects including the installation of the FibreTrack surface. Before departing the UK, he held numerous Clerk of the Course positions with Arena Racing Company.
In his new role with MC Equine Surfaces, Neil will undertake various roles supporting the delivery of key racing and equine surface projects within the UK, Middle East and internationally, including the Tipperary project which will see a Polytrack installed in 2027. This role also involves client interfacing and assistance with maintenance and
project management.
